Your annual fund is the essential building block for your development program, forming the base of those first donors, leadership annual donors, and unrestricted donors. Once they have identified themselves through your annual fund, you can add them to your donor pipeline, which for some will mean future potential major gifts. For the greatest success in achieving these annual fund gifts, you need to have a thoughtful and thorough annual plan. This should include a timeline, appeal strategies, events, communication, stewardship and evaluation plans.

This 60-minute webinar will explore the components of an annual plan, allowing for customization based on your program and institution type. This could include vice presidents, directors, gift officers, planned giving and annual fund staff. It could also include staff members from advancement, such as a campaign director, major gift officer, director of development, and other staff. About Your Faculty
Senior Consultant Pam Spencer has more than 20 years of fundraising experience in a variety of senior leadership roles. Most recently, Pam served as Vice President of Advancement Services for Florida State University, helping the University complete a successful billion-dollar campaign and building a 44-member, high performing Division at the University focusing on data-driven, donor-focused decision making. Prior to her time at the University, Pam served as the Executive Director of Kent County Parks Foundation, Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Grant Writer, and Director of Prospect Management at Hope College, and Assistant Director of Development for Bethanna. She earned her master’s degree in Nonprofit Management at Eastern University.
