The Challenge: Build Long Term Capacity for Our Development Effort
Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton, Ohio began its work with Gonser Gerber in 2008 when the firm was retained to help the School revitalize its Annual Fund. Since then, we have sought the firm’s advice and counsel for strategic planning, campaign planning and campaign readiness, and mentoring of the Development Office team. In working with Gonser Gerber, annual fund revenues have grown nearly 40% and the School has successfully launched the quiet phase of a multi-million dollar capital and endowment campaign.
“We have appreciated our work with the Gonser Gerber team because of the demonstrated success we have experienced since we began work with the firm and, perhaps more importantly, their commitment to helping build long-term capacity for our development effort,” said Daniel J. Meixner, CJ’s President. “While we are always focused on the necessary day-to-day activities, we understand how each of these fits in our overall plan and our commitment to more fully build philanthropic support for our mission and vision.”

“Gonser Gerber has helped me more fully use my career experience in the private sector to inform my leadership role for our development efforts. Our recent success in expanding our program and growing support from our community should serve as an example of the value of the partnership between a good Development Office team and the professionals at Gonser Gerber.”
