On Demand Program
“Either you run the day or the day runs you.”
Jim Rohn
One of the outcomes of the current COVID-19 pandemic is the need to adapt (seemingly overnight) to a remote work environment. Even for those experienced professionals who previously have worked remotely, it is clear that this is not work as usual. Children are home, parents have become stand-in teachers, and in-person meetings throughout the week are not occurring and, thus, not providing a respite from screen-time. Additionally, the professional expectations for using video-conferencing and other communication technologies have greatly accelerated.
Advancement work, at its core, is social and personal. Our new conditions can be especially challenging for individuals and teams who thrive off interpersonal engagement and interaction. A productive and successful distributed-work environment is far more complex than simply, “taking everything we used to do face-to-face and moving it to vide0-conferencing.” From a distance, what are the strategies we can employ to enhance the team dynamic? To motivate ourselves to do the best work possible? To continue to connect our donors to our important mission in ways that result in advancement success?
In this webinar, brought to you by Jason McNeal and the Gonser Gerber Institute, we will explore findings from research that provide successful strategies for working remotely. Both as individuals and advancement teams, there are approaches and tactics you can utilize to enhance your wellbeing, your individual productivity, and the results of your team.
Topics we will cover include:
- 5 key habits of successful remote workers
- Strategies to build team effectiveness – even from afar
- How to structure virtual team and individual meetings that get results
- Leadership in remote work settings – dos and donts
- New opportunities for donor engagement and how social distancing actually can change our work for the better
The fee for this webinar is $295 per institution, which allows your entire team the opportunity to participate in this professional development at the same time. If you are a current client of Gonser Gerber Advancement Consulting, that fee is just $145. You will also receive a copy of the presentation and a recording of the webinar with your registration.
On Demand Details: After your registration, you will receive a copy of the power point presentation as well as a copy of the recording. (Please allow at least 48 business hours to receive your materials.) You will be able to share these materials with your entire team, including volunteers, and review the recording as many times as you need.
