Date: On Demand Program
Are the gift officers at your institution using the Opportunities function of RE NXT?
Let’s be frank: Raiser’s Edge NXT is daunting with all its updates and changes. Its vocabulary is different from the old RE that we’ve had for years. It looks different. And you probably haven’t had time to learn to navigate each part.
The feature that you might be overlooking that could have a huge impact on your organization is the Opportunities tile. This function can actually help move your prospect management processes forward more effectively and efficiently. It also allows managers and directors to view metrics and measure performance of individual team members, review prospect and donor trends, and help with goal setting.
In this Raiser’s Edge NXT webinar, we will focus on how Gift Officers, Directors, Leaders and Prospect Management Teams can use the Opportunities tile in RE NXT to further their prospect relationships, donor management and solicitation effectiveness.
The Gonser Gerber Institute is hosting this program presented by Judith Youngblood, founder and CEO of WIST Data Solutions, Raiser’s Edge consultant and expert on RE NXT.
Topics We Will Cover:
- What the Opportunities Function is (and is not)
- Why use Opportunities instead of Notes
- How your use of Actions dovetails with Opportunities
- Entering Opportunities in NXT
- Tracking and Reporting Opportunities
- Samples of effective Opportunity entries
- Answers to your pressing questions
- What to do next!

This program is designed for any team using Raiser’s Edge NXT, including educational, non-profit, healthcare, religious organizations, or social services.
