Successful Advancement programs start with an Advancement Plan which ensures that all staff are working in the same direction and that institutional leadership understands what the advancement program will accomplish during the fiscal year. It’s an important task, and we find that many institutions struggle with pulling it together.
Your plan should be created with participation from staff executing the plan and be coordinated by the advancement leader in conjunction with institutional goals. It should take into account the strategic plan of the institution, challenges or opportunities presented by the external environment, and the budget allocated for advancement operations.
But finding the time to create a well thought out plan that provides measurable goals and focuses effort on activities that meet these goals for all members of your team can be daunting and difficult. Join us for this Gonser Gerber one-day virtual workshop focused on getting you ready and started on your annual advancement plan.
Workshop facilitator Jane Eaves, Partner with Gonser Gerber, will spend the day with you, helping to establish the most important aspects of your program plan, including how and why to set goals, priorities, deadlines, and aspirations.
