Date: December 6, 2023 Time: 11 am – 12 pm central Live Webinar
Our alumni and graduates use their class year reunions as a chance to celebrate, reconnect and reminisce about the old days. Many of our institutions help them plan this party as a way for us to reengage with them as well. It also gives the advancement team the opportunity to remind our alumni of all the ways their education was possible, through the support of past generations who wanted to help educate the next generation.
Has your advancement team thought about the various ways you can capitalize on these reunion years?
We can use messaging about honoring and recognizing their reunion year through class gifts, whether your institution accepts restricted or unrestricted gifts, or scholarship and endowment gifts. Join us for this program now so that you can plan and prepare for your Spring and Fall Reunion messaging.
In this webinar, Gonser Gerber Senior Consultant and Senior Vice President for Advancement at Saint Xavier High School, Mike Littell, reviews the ways in which his team has continued to leverage reunion years, how to sow those seeds now while they are still students, and how that impacts a donor’s relationship with the institution over time. Mike will also review the Saint Xavier Class Endowment Program and other ways their team has been soliciting as part of a senior class campaign and reunion gift for more than 50 years.
Topics we will cover include:
- Why class gifts are an important part of your program
- Volunteers for Planning and Giving Committees
- Partnering on reunion year celebrations
- Create ways to encourage giving to reunion classes
- Reunions and Matching Gifts
- Advertising multi-year pledges for greater gifts
- Educating your current students
