
Biography
Cal has more than 30 years of experience in institutional advancement. He has been with Gonser Gerber since 1979, becoming a partner in 1982. Immediately before joining the firm, he was Chief Development Officer at Marquette University, where he was responsible for the fundraising and an alumni relations program that included designing and directing a major capital campaign. Cal also served as Director of Development at Lawrence University, as Associate Director of Development at Vanderbilt University, and as Director of Public Relations at Westminster College. Before entering the field of institutional advancement, he taught speech communications at Westminster College. His current and former clients include:
